Sally, I love that kitchen, and since I enjoy mac and cheese, I am going to try your recipe. What happens if I don't hate it?

Sincerely, Myrna

Tried this for supper tonight. My two year old ate it without complaint which is always a good sign. Thank you for the quick and easy recipe. For your downloadable recipe though – you forgot to add the butter. :)

Sounds good, altho I've done much of this type of thing too, always strive for whole foods. And surely "our" little girl will love it too. SuzAnne.

This is the way I learned to make mac and cheese from the time I was a young girl. It always makes the packaged kind taste yucky! I also use the white sauce for creamed salmon and peas (my husband's favorite!). I rarely start the cheese sauce till the macaroni is started cooking….that's how fast it is. Thanks for sharing.
